Why I chose QA Testing

To be perfectly honest, this was something I overlooked for the longest time even though I was thurough with my own testing and play testers while as I used to believe my enthusiasm was towards design. And while that was true to some degree, I used to do some writing when I was younger, I realised that my interest would often wane half way through my projects. And while this isn't the case any more, I recently discovered my passion for fixing other people's problems.
I'd always been critical when it came to getting the most out of something, especially in games. I'd spend ages trying to maximum my loadout with the space I got and that extends to QA testing. I love taking people's feedback and implementing solutions to best fit all the criteria. Or earning satisfaction from bug squashing, it's almost it's own puzzle in a game, complete with its own rules to solving it.
Now I know perfection isn't attainable, it's a mythical beast we all are chasing, but it's that goal of squeezing that one more drop that gives me the drive to keep going. That is why I will always keep chasing it. I may never catch perfection, but I can certainly catch excellence.
Until next time,
